The SP 4 is a dual 15-inch quasi three-way sound reinforcement cabinet built for large-scale live sound where a single driver is not enough. Two BWX Black Widow woofers with 4" diameter voice coils and field-replaceable baskets handle 2,000 watts program and 4,000 watts peak, while the RX 22CT compression driver and Quadratic Throat Waveguide technology keep high-frequency output precise and controlled. Sound Guard III tweeter protection keeps the compression driver safe under sustained high-output use.
The asymmetrical horn aims coverage 10 degrees downward, putting sound on the audience rather than projecting past them a practical advantage in medium to large venues.
