E-waste management
The Government of India, through its notification dated May 12, 2011, introduced the E-waste (Management and Handling) Rules, 2011 ("Rules"), placing the onus on consumers to responsibly dispose of waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) rather than discarding it improperly or selling it to scrap dealers.
This regulatory framework aims to curb environmental pollution. For PRO FX and its consumers, electronic product recycling serves as a cornerstone of sustainable development and demonstrates a commitment to social responsibility. By recycling, valuable and scarce raw materials from electronic equipment such as plastics, metals, and glass can be reused in manufacturing new products. This circular approach not only extends the lifecycle of materials but also conserves finite natural resources. Additionally, recycling helps stabilize raw material prices, ultimately reducing costs for consumers and making products more affordable for all.
