This versatile speaker can be wall-mounted or paired with MXT70, MXT60, and MXT20 tower speakers to unlock overhead audio effects. The MXT90 will act as a height channel when paired with any 4- and 8-ohm AV receiver that provides a minimum of 7-channels and that supports Dolby Atmos or DTS:X. You can also use the MXT90 with vintage receivers that have DSP and outputs for ambience speakers.
All Monitor XT models are made for the enjoyment of pure sound: Their nickel- plated binding posts guarantee a direct, lossless connection; critically braced MDF cabinets isolate the sound of the woofer and tweeter without adding unwanted resonances; and their removable, precision-fit grilles minimize sonic interference.
