Sarum T Analogue XLR

Sarum T builds on the success of our acclaimed Sarum Super ARAY range and introduces our breakthrough proprietary insulation material, Taylon®, bringing a major performance upgrade. Sarum T brings the remarkable benefits of our proprietary dielectric at a new, more accessible price level. Previous generations of Sarum Super ARAY cables have featured a PTFE dielectric. The upgrade to Taylon® introduces a raft of performance benefits. Earlier versions of Sarum cables can be upgraded to Sarum T specification. EpicX 2RCA Cable

What Hi-Fi? multiple award winner. Hand built in the UK, ClearwayX ARAY RCA features ARAY conductor geometry, heavy gauge OFC conductors, upgraded XLPE insulation and dual-layer shielding. ClearwayX RCA is fitted with ChorAlloy™ plated Chord VEE3 RCA connectors and is available in a variety of useful lengths. Custom lengths and terminations are available to order. Also available fitted with DIN and XLR connectors. RCA version is ready for use with RCA-equipped turntables. Also available with flying earth leads.

ClearwayX 2XLR Cable

The ClearwayX ARAY XLR cable features ARAY conductor geometry, heavy gauge OFC conductors, upgraded XLPE insulation and dual-layer shielding. The design of the ClearwayX ARAY analogue cable means that we can adapt the conductor configuration to produce a particularly good XLR terminated cable, allowing identical conductors for the hot, cold and earth connections. The ClearwayX ARAY XLR is fitted with Neutrik XLR plugs containing Chord Company ChorAlloy™ plated connector pins. Standard lengths are 1m and 0.5m, with custom lengths available to order.

C-Line 2RCA Cable

WHAT HI-FI? multiple award winner. An original Chord Company design, built specially for us. We wanted a high performance cable at an affordable price that still adheres to our exacting standards. The ARAY conductor geometry was developed from the Tuned ARAY conductor configuration first used on our then flagship Chord Sarum cable range. The over-moulded RCA plug uses the same signal enhancing direct gold-plating process that we use on our Chord VEE3 RCA plugs. The most important reason for developing this cable comes down to just how affordable good quality digital players and turntables have got. We needed a cable to match that performance.  Producing genuinely high-performance cables that carry a musical signal with a real sense of coherence is a big challenge and we are justifiably proud of our award winning C-line interconnects. ARAY conductor geometry, multi-strand oxygen free copper signal and return conductors.  High density overwrapped foil shielding, reduces signal loss caused by high frequency interference. Unique RCA plug gold-plating process improves signal transfer across audio frequencies.  Over moulded plug surround provides high reliability connection. The Chord C-line analogue audio interconnect is designed to work with all line level components, CD players, streaming devices, DVD players, home theatre amplifiers, tuners, phono stages and pre to power amplifier connections.  This cable can also be used with RCA equipped turntables. Clearway HDMI AOC

Clearway HDMI AOC uses a high-quality chipset at both ends of the cable and the highest OM3 grade (over 10 Gigabit bandwidth) glass fibres rather than the typical OM2 (up to 1 Gigabit bandwidth). Alongside the full 4K/8K HDR picture quality, this ultra high-speed cable benefits from improved audio performance and is heavily shielded against HF noise. Epic Streaming cable

The Epic streaming cable has been developed for use with digital audio streaming components – we can’t call them Ethernet cables because they’re not the same. Ethernet cables don’t use high quality silver-plated conductors, high speed insulation materials, high density separate pair shielding or high density overall shielding.  Neither do they use our unique ARAY conductor geometry. It uses a high precision RJ45 connector that we modify in order to be able to directly solder the conductors to the contact pins. One of the more pleasurable aspects of working at The Chord Company is the demonstration room.  It means spending lots of time listening to music. It’s a tough job but someone’s got to do it. We started listening to streamers when they first became available and started experimenting with their cables very soon after. Successful early trials led to us adapting the ARAY conductor concept to work with streaming cables. The Epic streaming cable can help your system sound musically coherent, involving and detailed.  We don’t produce any product that doesn’t add to the musical experience, so put any preconceptions to one side, borrow one and have a listen. Available in 1m lengths as standard.  Longer custom lengths are available to order.

Clearway Streaming cable

You should notice a difference from the minute you plug Chord Company Clearway Streaming cables into your system. Clearway Streaming cable has been designed to virtually eliminate the pickup of external high-frequency noise that can interfere with your enjoyment of streamed digital audio and video. Noise can find its way into the signal grounds and affect the performance of both digital and analogue circuits. Although the digital information is very robust this unwanted noise can compromise the final performance. To avoid this each of the four pairs of oxygen-free high-speed conductors have been individually shielded from the others. In addition to this we have fitted an overall shield below the outer jacket, optimised to further protect against high frequency noise. Chord Clearway USB A-B

Clearway USB is based on Chord's established C-USB cable and benefits from significant improvements in shielding.
