The Peavey VCM 3 is a miniature cardioid condenser microphone built to be suspended overhead in choir lofts, above instrumental ensembles, or over stage areas where a discreet, unobtrusive pickup solution is needed. Its back-electret condenser element captures a natural, open sound from above without getting in the way of performers or sight lines. The cardioid polar pattern focuses pickup on the sound source below while rejecting noise from the sides and rear, keeping the signal clean in reverberant spaces like sanctuaries and auditoriums. It runs on 9V to 52V phantom power and comes with everything needed to get it up and running straight out of the box. Available in black and white to blend into any ceiling or rigging environment.
